Week 6
This week in our exercise we will be building on the previous weeks. We will be working to improve on recalling details. The exercise has us looking at a photograph of a person or people before we do our meditation and then recall and picture the details of the photograph in our minds.
Our ability to look at something and remember details afterwards is not something many people can do. By doing this we are “cultivating the power of attention” and this is a huge part of the law of attraction. By doing this we remain “present”. How many times have we been preoccupied when we met someone or visited someplace and we missed the details?
In order to cultivate the power of attention, bring a photograph with you to the same seat in the same room in the same position as heretofore. Examine it closely at least ten minutes, note the expression of the eyes, the form of the features, the clothing, the way the hair is arranged; in fact, note every detail shown on the photograph carefully. Now cover it and close your eyes and try to see it mentally; if you can see every detail perfectly and can form a good mental image of the photograph, you are to be congratulated; if not, repeat the process until you can.
