Relax today

Week 3

Meditation

This week during our daily meditation we are asked to relax. Most of us feel the stress of daily life and forget to take the time to relax. Learning to rest and relax refreshes our mind and our body and helps us make better decisions. Try this for 15-20 minutes today.

~ For your exercise this week, I will ask you to go one step further. I want you to not only be perfectly still, and inhibit all thought as far as possible, but relax, let go, let the muscles take their normal condition; this will remove all pressure from the nerves, and eliminate that tension which so frequently produces physical exhaustion.~

Still waters

Week 4

In order to receive we must give. We attain power by being of service to others. You will not be able to receive if you are busy with your own plans. This power is found in the world within. 

Take time to be quiet and still. If you are always worried and stressed out, upset because things aren’t going your way, angry over what someone said or did, then you are only living on the surface. You can not control world events or what your neighbor does, but you can control your reaction to it. Find that place of still waters in your inner world and receive the power it creates. 

The Universal cannot express through you as long as you are busy with your plans, your own purposes; quiet the senses, seek inspiration, focus the mental activity on the within, dwell in the consciousness of your unity with Omnipotence. “Still water runs deep;” contemplate the multitudinous opportunities to which you have spiritual access by the Omnipresence of power.
