My Story

About 25 years ago I attended a Tony Robbins seminar in Hartford and purchased his personal power program on cassette tapes. Every day for a month I listened and applied his teachings. That led me on a journey into the law of attraction. I began looking for books to read and found “Think and grow rich” by Napoleon Hill; “The greatest salesman in the world” by Og Mandino and “As a man thinketh” by James Allen. I reread “How to win friends and influence people” by Dale Carnegie and a host of others. I have read every book Tony Robbins has written since that day and became a huge fan of Dr. Wayne Dyer absorbing all his work.

In 2006 when the book “The secret” came out I remember reading it and saying to myself I already knew that! When the movie came out, I became a fan of Bob Proctor, and Dr. Joe Vitale. It was about that time I discovered “The Master Key System” written by Charles Haanel. The first time I read it through like a chapter book. I found it fascinating.

A couple years later, I began taking classes to become a lay speaker. I felt called to share the word of God with others. (I have been teaching Sunday School at my church for almost 30 years.) All of this became part of a spiritual awakening for me.

In 2013, I took an online course at the global sciences foundation (founded by Dr. Joe Vitale) and became a certified “Law of Attraction Practitioner”. And again started reading “The Master Key System” this time reading a chapter a week and doing the meditation exercises.

Last year I felt the desire to pick the book up again. I worked with a MKS yahoo group for the first few weeks and then got to week 17 on my own until I had to stop when my dad got ill.

In April of 2017, I started thinking about teaching others what I had learned, so I began this blog. I felt that the first 10 chapters would give someone a good foundation and a basic knowledge. I also felt that 24 weeks was a big commitment especially for a beginning learner. So I offer the option to continue on your own after the 10 weeks are complete, or repeating it again hopefully gaining more insight in repetition.

Please follow me on Facebook or twitter. Let me know if this blog is making a difference in your study of MKS and message me any questions you may have.
