10 week Journey

We will begin week 1 of “The Master Key System” by Charles Haanel on Monday Oct 9. Each weekend you will be asked to read one chapter of the book. The book is free domain so it is available on many online sites. Every Monday we will review the exercise and application for that particular week. Each day (Tuesday-Friday) I will provide quick thoughts about the chapter. We will be discussing chapters 1-10 so this will be a 10 week journey. I hope you join us.

My goal is to guide you as you discover the basics/beginning concepts of the law of attraction.  There is a small amount of dedication and daily meditation required. “NO” prior knowledge of the law of attraction (LOA) or The Master Key System (MKS) is required. There is no charge to participate in this journey.


Favorite Flower

Week 9 : Exercise

This week you will visualize your favorite flower. Bring it to view. Plant a seed, water and care for it. Place it in the sun and watch as the seed comes alive. See the roots penetrate the dirt. See the stem shoot upward and watch it burst through the surface. See it divide and form branches. Watch as the leaves and buds begin to form. Then watch as your favorite flower comes into view.  Keep at it until you can see the flower clearly in your minds eye. 

Concentrate on it until you become conscious of the fragrance. Watch as a breeze gently sways this beautiful creation that you have visualized. 


This blog is a 10 week program based on the first 10 chapters of the book “The Master Key System” written by Charles Haanel in 1916. It was one of the first books to mention the “law of attraction” and is one of the finest studies in personal power, creating abundance and wealth that exists.

Exercise 2 notes

I was having trouble last week finding an uninterrupted 15-20 minutes to do my exercise. So I pulled into a back parking spot at the grocery store, set my iPhone alarm and sat in the car for 15 minutes, then did my shopping. 

This week’s exercise is similar except we try to control our  thoughts while we do it. You should try to stop your thoughts of worry or fear when they occur and only entertain thoughts you desire. Notice how many different thoughts you have in the time span. 

I actually tried to tell my thoughts, “shhh be quiet for a while” and see if I can go a few moments without any thoughts. It worked for maybe a second or two. What are your experiences ??
